The National Student Council Conference (NSCC) is the must-attend student leadership event of the year, with a theme that will excite both students and advisers. The national conference is the only place they can expand their horizons and get exposed to people, ideas, and opportunities beyond their local area. “Making History” focuses on the monumental historical moments with the use of secondary elements in order for the student to command the space, a space where they lead.

This concept leverages from great influences of the Obama’s Inauguration to the Women’s March and even the March of Our Lives. All these moments have shaped the younger generation in taking their voice to a higher level than what it was for previous generations. Hence, making their own history.

The paper tear, marker strokes, newspaper textures, and the monuments are all elements in a student’s life as they learn about history while also making it. Sticky notes which connect call to actions to headline reminds yet again the tools student use on a daily to write their own history.

While also a use of a more patriotic color palette used with a soft typography choice blends the artwork in harmoniously.
